On FRIDAY in our regular “A Challenge for the Future” we’ll talk about a recent revolutionary discovery made by Romanian researchers: the telocytes. They are cells, which alongside stem cells can help diseased organs such as the heart recover. For more on this topic stay tuned for Friday’s “A Challenge for the Future”. Also on Friday don’t miss “Practical Guide” which will bring information from notaries public in Romania.


On SATURDAY “World of Culture” will be featuring contemporary writer Mircea Cartarescu, the best selling writer in Romania at present, whose work has been translated in dozens of languages. Also on Saturday don’t miss “RRI Encyclopedia” in which we’ll speak about Romanians and federalism. In “Roots” we’ll look at the healing power of plants.


On SUNDAY in “Inside Romania” we’ll look at an interesting and new phenomenon in Romania –music and juggling in the Circus Park in Bucharest, a phenomenon which is widespread across Western Europe.


On MONDAY our regular history feature “Pro Memoria” will look at the reign of king Carol the 2nd of Romania.


On TUESDAY we invite you to join our “Business Club” which brings a report on the beer market in Romania.


On WEDNESDAY “Society Today” will look at kindergartens in Romania while in “Visit Romania” we’ll take you on a tour of the wine cellars of Buzau county.


On THURSDAY as part of our tourist feature “Traveller’s Guide” we invite you at the festival of cheese and smoked mutton hosted by the town of Bran, in Brasov county.
