Romania will participate, for the 6th time in a row, in one of the mot important literary events in Britain –the London International Book Fair, to be held between April 15th and 17th. Presented at the fair will be the latest Romanian books translated into English as well as academic works. The events organised at the fair and at the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute in London will present visitors the Romanian literary heritage created in the Anglo-Saxon world and will pay homage to all those who contributed, over the last few decades, to the setting up of an important library of prose, poetry and academic works in English translation.

The United States sees North Korea’s threats as unnaccepteble, and the country would not be tolerated as nuclear power, US Secreatry of State John Kerry said. The American official made this statement after a meeting on Friday in Seoul with the South Korean President Park Geun-hye. Over the past few weeks, the regime in Pyonyang has been threatening to start a war and reports by the America intelligence services suggest that North Korea might be able to launch nuclear capable ballistic missiles.
