Radio Romania International carries on its traditional survey among its listeners, internet and social media users, and challenges you to an exercise that, we hope, you will find interesting.
We invite you to tell us which of today’s personalities you believe has left the most significant positive mark on the world this year. Based on your choices, we will designate the “Personality of the Year 2012 on RRI.” Who could that person be, and, more importantly, why?
Will it be a politician, an opinion leader, a businessman, an athlete, an artist, a scientist or someone whose name is not known to the public, but who has an exemplary story?
It’s up to you to decide!

We remind you that “The Personalities of the Year 2011 on RRI” were designated, collectively, all the citizens who rose against the undemocratic or authoritarian regimes in their countries, in Northern Africa and the Middle East, in the mass protests known as “the Arab Spring.”
The Personality of the Year 2012 on RRI will be announced in our programmes on Tuesday, January the 1, 2013.
