RRI’s listener Robert C. Ackx and his wife Maria Helena Ackx-Blom from the Netherlands, winners of the Grand Prize of the contest “My Cultural Bucharest- from Radio Orchestras to Contemporary Art” have arrived to Romania. They will spend 8 days and 7 nights with full board accommodation in Bucharest to attend the most important concerts included in the first edition of the Radio Orchestras International Festival to take place between September 23rd and 29th. The festival is organized by Radio Romania as part of its mission as a public service. The Ackx family will visit some of Bucharest’s main tourist, cultural and historical attractions. Besides the Grand Prize, RRI has also granted 90 prizes and special mentions that will reach their winners in the coming weeks.
