The 19th George Enescu International Festival is under way in Bucharest over August 30th- September 26th. 13 big orchestras from Europe and 14 chamber orchestras from across the world will give concerts. An international competition will also take place as part of the festival. The contest has three sections: piano, violin and composition. The festivall will be aired live on Radio Romania, co-producer of the event. You’ll have more about the event after the news.
