As of Monday, October the 16th 2006, Radio Romania International is the first Romanian broadcaster to join the club of stations broadcasting in digital system, “Digital Radio Mondiale”.
Through our partner - World Radio Network-a 30 minute English-language program is broadcast daily to Western Europe, by a transmitter located in Wertachtal, Germany.
In summer time, the broadcast can be listened to at 14.00 hours GMT on the frequency of 7. 160 kHz, and in wintertime, as of October the 29th, at 15.00 hours GMT, on 7. 340 kHz.
